Twitter
Twitter is an online way website that allows communication with family, friends, co-workers and other people around the world. It is similar to Facebook and Myspace. People posts a status which updates on their page and that person’s friends or followers will see it and they can respond and ask questions to that person instantly.
All 5 groups can use twitter in positive useful way. In a business twitter is used to get ideas and comments from people about what that company has to say or posts. Like a blog it can help a company, but this is a faster way of communication. In social aspect twitter is used to connect with family and friends and even celebrities if they "follow" you. You can post comment to them about them and it's an easy way to stay connected. This also effects the entertainment field because having stars connect this fans opens their popularity and more people want to connect with them and use the website. In news and recreational uses there can be posts made by people about current events and world problems as well as information from community leaders to the town "followers" to stay connected and updated. Twitter can easily be abused. It can be abused by people posting bad and hurtful posts to anyone's pages. Athletes and stars could use it to bad talk about their competitors. Possible repercussions can be a suspension from twitter and in some cases, if severe enough, being banned from twitter.
